Born from necessity during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic, ScreenTime Tokens were designed to transform excessive screen use into quality time. When the pandemic hit, our lives went “virtual” almost overnight, and we needed help confidently navigating homeschooling challenges and with combatting social isolation.

With almost 10 years of experience in pediatric Occupational Therapy, our founder, Brian Collins, developed the Flexible Reward Tool for Improving Behaviors… AKA, “The Reward Wheel!” this one-of-a-kind product provides parents a simple tool to visually inform their children of the expectations required to earn a reward, while visually displaying the specific rewards.

From there, “ScreenTime Tokens” were developed to address those specific kiddos who had nothing but time and little direction, while also isolated in their home. Although simple in nature, the ScreenTime Tokens would continue to be a very useful tool even after the pandemic for parents aiming to either decrease their child’s screentime and/or help build required skills and positive behaviors as a reward.

Clip To Rewards is proud to be a contributing member of our Northeast Ohio community by creating a product, here in the U.S.A., that can help parents, caregivers, teachers, and therapists improve the lives of those they care for. What started out as a “Side-Project” has grown and morphed into a substantial and thriving “Social-Good” company.

We have the honor of providing real work tasks to individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities so that they have an opportunity to use their skills and earn a livable wage. There are no “Piece-work” rates for those assembling the products sold by Clip To Rewards.

  • No, the ScreenTime Tokens are NOT a toy. It is a tool for caregivers to use to either manage screentime to improve the health of those they care for OR an incentive for skill building and managing behaviors.

  • To be “Green!” There is no reason not to! We want our product to have minimal environmental impact, and wood decomposes; plastic does not.

  • ScreenTime Tokens are simply an economy-based reward system. The “Introduction” is the most important process, especially when young children or individuals with special needs are involved (please browse our Blog articles for more info). You as the parent or caregiver decides how many minutes on screens some can earn for whatever you are looking to accomplish and then provide the tokens (or place in a specific location) once earned. It is important that the reward is available soon after accomplishing whatever you want so that a connection (cause and effect) is established early on.

  • Yes! Well, at least we hope so; every individual is different so of course there are no guarantee’s, however, we have seen great results with individuals with mild/moderate cognitive disabilities in conjunction with professional therapies, after-all, they were developed by an experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist!
